  • What is the difference between the ARC ALS Level 1 and Level 2 courses?
ALS 1: has been developed for participants that would not normally manage deteriorating patients or cardiac arrest as part of their normal clinical role. The course is focused on foundation skills and knowledge development. The course is suitable for clinicians who work outside of critical care areas or are new/developing critical care clinicians such as ward-based nurses, GPs, paramedics, and community health care workers. ALS 2: has been developed for participants who work in critical care areas or may be responsible for the management or care of the deteriorating patient or cardiac arrest.
